a few steps here, a few there! he's got it down now... Gav officially started walking on my birthday. (cool huh? what a nice gift!) he's off and running! (well, almost.) he looks like a little frankenstin. :) heehee!

our weekend in san francisco!

hanging out with AE and AK... we shopped, lunched, napped (well, not really, wish we had napped!) and went to the Exploratorium... take a peek!

Sigh.... bath time...

this week, bath-time changed! for some reason, Gav decided that he did not want to sit while bathing. no matter what, he was going to stand. (nervous time!!!) we finally got smart and thought that maybe if he had his basketball, that would make him want to have a seat! AHA! it worked!

in the 97˚ heat!!!! wow. dodgers vs. angels! crazy-HOT-HOT-HOT day!!!! we were lucky to have shady seats till the 4th inning... then it was time to head out! that worked out well anyway, because by that time, Gav was over the people-watching and becoming more interested in trying to play in the peanut shells on the ground...

happy mother's day!

i had the best day! mark, gav and the doggies made sure that it was special! we started out with a yummy breakfast of waffles and bacon made for me by mark... then we went to the zoo. (very cool monkey exhibit, btw!) for lunch we had my all-time favorite, Ho-Sum bistro! yummmm!!!!! later that afternoon, i got to get a massage while mark and gav enjoyed watching the laker game. (or not, since they lost :( !) last but not least, we ended my day with an awesome walk around the lake with the doggies. it was fantabulous and i couldn't have asked for more!

just a couple of moments that made me smile...

i received this picture in an email from mark. the subject says "shhh, don't tell mom". apparently while mark and gav were waiting at the target pharmacy, gav got a little antsy. so, mark let gav hang out in the back of the cart where he got to stand, bounce-bounce-bounce and get lots of attention! my little flirt...


cool surprise.... mark was opening the mail and he said "hey, gav got something from gunnar..." (gunnar is my very close friend kadie's little boy.) it was a drawing by gunnar. (notice gavin is clutching it below.) kadie had written a note that said that gunnar was drawing this and without a moment's thought, said "i want to send this to baby gavin!" so she did! aren't kids cool? :) (btw, gunnar's art is now proudly displayed on the frig!)
