10 weeks!!!

ok, we tried the pool out the other day... here's how it went! pre pool... looks a bit nervous.... in the pool, not a happy camper! post-pool, ahhhh... sweet dreams!




gavin has been cracking us up all week. every time we turn around, he's doing his new trick. (we call it the super-gav!) not sure if he's boxing, kung-fu-fighting or what! (mark says he's reaching for the handlebars...) :)

9 weeks!!!

this week has been pretty cool! father's day and all! :) he's getting to be so much more alert! gav is giggling and smiling a ton.... "talking" alot more now too! for father's day we went to venice beach and people-watched. all-in-all a good day!

2 month check-up: 12 lbs, 6 oz, 23" long

today gav got his shots... very traumatic! (for me, mainly!) this picture is from this afternoon... well-rested and ready for a happy afternoon!

8 weeks... gosh, 2 months! craziness!!!!

1,2,3- gav's trip to the park with his friends Isabella & Tate (born 4/11) and Paisley (born 4/15).
4- happy guy! the last time in his cradle...
5- sleepy-head after a bath... he loves to sleep & eat with his hands up by his ears!
wow... these 2 months have flown!!! gav has slept for 2 nights in his crib, in his room. he made the move from the bedside cradle with no issues... yet! this has been such a cool week with him! he's been so interactive with his eye contact, "talking" (cooing and other fun noises!) laughing and giggling, watching us when we move, playing with his hands and feet, recognizing our voices.... (i could go on and on!) we'll keep you posted!

he's been busy smiling, giggling and gurgling! wants to eat alot more this week... maybe a growth spurt or something???? he's finally getting some hair back in front. (for awhile he was sporting the cul-de-sac look!) he's enjoying baths more... contending with hiccups and watching his toy lion that hangs in the car. (turns out he gets irritated when it stops moving when the car stops. once the lions is back in motion, he is the happiest camper you've ever seen!)
