happy 8 months!

8 months is here! it's more and more fun everyday! right now gav is busy grabbing at everything in sight, feeding himself his bottles, petting the doggies and bouncing, jumping and bouncing!!! it seems like as he gets more independent,it's getting easier, but craziness is around the corner for sure! :)



1st visit to Chuck E. Cheese! oh boy... good times ahead!! ! celebrating cousin anna's 4th birthday with aunt jennifer and cousin evan....

what a weekend!

it was action-packed for sure! we started out at home and then headed down to san diego for the race-for-the-cure. we had tons of fun!


started out with the traditional saturday morning snuggle!

go OU! cheered for the Sooners in our hotel room in san diego... had to wear his shirt! (fyi, the only 2 times that gav didn't wear the shirt, they lost!)

gav loved the course... and loved people-watching and making friends!

turkey-time!

well, we've all had the stomach flu! as you can imagine, no fun at all!!!! gav and mark were the true troopers! (only about 12-24 hous of down time for them.) we're finally on the mend now... here are a couple of gav's favorite times during this past week....

thanksgiving morning.... at the park with the boys. he couldn't decided if he like watching the dogs chase the ball or playing with the grass....


just woke up from a long nap and on our way to aunt nancy's for turkey-dinner!


hmmm... still a bit under the weather.... or maybe it's that he's on the pedialyte diet while everyone else is eating turkey!

happy 7 months!!!

7 months is super fun! for gav, life is all about hi-5's, sitting up solo, new noises with his lips... (kinda like he's chewing, but all gums!) his all-time favorite sport right now is bouncing, jumping, bouncing, jumping and more bouncing! good times!

last weekend, gav and i went up to san francisco to visit erika and kendra. we had good, quality aunt time!

6 months! already???

wow... i can't believe this is here!!!! he is getting so big! at 6 months, gav weighs 18.4 lbs and is 27" inches long. he's loving his fruits and veggies!(tonight he had his first bananas.) gav is a super social lil' guy, loves to talk and laugh! for those of you who see him often, he's still twirling those little toes constantly!
